About this Project

Construction on the 81km of new Rail line from the Fortescue main rail line through the Chichester Range towards the Solomon deposit, at a cost of $330 Million The project consisted of a quantity of 6.0 million cubic metres of material with a large percentage of this being drill and blast rock, 3 new concrete bridges and associated drainage and sidings.

Insight Survey involvement:

  • Surveyors Managers for the whole project.
  • Supply of surveyors for two of the five zones.
  • Implementation and Management of Machine Guidance.
  • EOM reporting and Mass Haul development.
  • Earthworks set out and as constructed reporting.
